『美女と野獣』に引き続き、今度は『白雪姫と七人のこびと』を借りてきた。

こちらは英検3級程度のレベルとのこと。
まだいけそう。
子供の頃読んだ白雪姫より、より詳しくて面白かった。
「７」という数字があらゆるところに出てくる。
白雪姫が7歳になったとき、とか、７つの山を越えて、とか、
こびとの数も7人だし。
昔話やおとぎ話ではこういうのよくあるよね。
この数字が重要な意味を持っているというやつ。
こういうのが面白い。
継母が、何度か白雪姫を殺そうとするのだけれども、
その最初に、使用人に、白雪姫の心臓を持ってこさせせて
「食べる」というのがある。
実際は、白雪姫の心臓では無く、豚の心臓なのだけれども、
こういうところ、包み隠さずリアルな表現がしてあるなぁ
と思った。
ご多分に漏れず、継母は、懲らしめられて終わる。こういった終わり方は『美女と野獣』とかとも同じ。
この話は、「嫉妬」をテーマとした話だとして
深い意味を持つと言われていて、
時には「継母」の役が「実母」であったりすることもある。
深いよねぇ。
人の欲望は底なしで、
既に持っているもの、あるものに満足しない限り、
永遠に、満足し得ないものなのかもしれんなぁ。
英語で、こういうおとぎ話を読み直すというのは、
なかなか面白いかも。
子供の頃とはまた違う感触がある。

I rented a English book"Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs".
This is the level theree English test certification.
It is still easy to read.
It was more funnier than I red it in my childhood.
It was written a lot more.
The number 7 is wrote several parts.
Snow White grew 7years old, 7th mountains over,and 7dwarfs,etc.
It is very important means like some old story and so on.
I feel it is funny.
The stepmothe try to kill Snow White several times,
the first time,let the servant to bring her heart,and EAT it.
Truly,It was pig's heart, but she believed it was Snow White's heart.
I think It is written in real not to close.
As is usual. stepmothe is punished and it is the same as sisters in Beauty and the Beast".
This story shows human jealousy.
It means deepness.
Sometimes, the role of stepmothe is changed to Mother.
I think it is deep.
Human desire is bottomless.
If we were not satisfied with what we havehad,we weren't feel enough forever.
It is very funny to read these books.
I feel different feelings as in my childhood.
